TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) are hosting a deepwater horizon RESTORE Act funding and projects webinar.
RESTORE Act stands for Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast Act.
The webinar is taking place on September 23, 2014 at 1 p.m.
The Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council is accepting projects for funding consideration, and DEP and FWC are considering many project proposals, but are looking for people to submit new project proposals through DEP's online portal.
