TALLAHASSEE, FL (#WTXLDigital) - Comcast customers across Tallahassee may have been getting more channels than they've been paying for and the cable company says that's about to stop.

After a series of system audits, Comcast is saying that they have found some customers have access to channels that are not part of their cable package.

Mindy Kramer the Vice President of Public Relations for Comcast Florida Region says the company has, "...made sure to let our customers know that [Comcast] can no longer include these extra channels in their package since they are not actually subscribed to them," in a series of letters sent out to customers.

In the letters customers received, Comcast says they provided a list of the channels that were being incorrectly distributed as well as the date the extra channels would be cut off.

Kramer says, "We recognize this is a disappointment for some customers who experienced changes in their channel lineup and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience."

Customers who want to make changes to their account or think they were sent the letters by mistakes are asked by Comcast to call 1-800-XFINITY (934-6489).
