GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A charter bus is burnt to a crisp after becoming engulfed in flames Saturday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the bus started on fire around 3 a.m. on Interstate 10 westbound, just east of the Lake Talquin exit.
Mark Rolph, the driver, said he smelled smoke coming from the bus and ordered everyone to exit the vehicle. Troopers say Rolph saw the left rear tire was on fire and tried unsuccessfully to extinguish it.
Nobody was injured and all the passengers have been accounted for.
