Celebrate America event planned for July 4th

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--We are one week away from the Fourth of July. 

If you haven't made plans yet, head to Tom Brown Park from 5 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 for Celebrate America. 

You can enjoy live music and a fireworks display.

The official welcoming ceremony is at 5:30 p.m.  The naturalization ceremony for new American citizens is at 6:40 p.m.

The main stage will feature two popular local bands, Tom & The Cats and Tallahassee Nights Live. The City’s Showmobile stage will feature local community talent, including Tallahassee Community College Dance Company and various other groups.

The fireworks will begin around 9:45 p.m. The kids can enjoy a variety of inflatables, supervised arts and crafts, water slides, and games.
