TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Deputies have identified the body of a man found at the Leon County solid waste transfer station on Gum Road Wednesday.
Investigators said that Anthony D. Todd's body was discovered by an employee. His body had originally been in a dumpster and transported to the transfer facility by a garbage truck, said deputies.
An autopsy was preformed Thursday morning and no signs of foul play were found. However, it will be several weeks before toxicology and lab results are obtained and a final cause of death determined, said the sheriff's office in a news release.
At this time, deputies say they have not been able to determine where Todd's body was picked up from.
