SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Suwannee firefighters said that a body was found after a home was engulfed in flames.
The Suwannee County Fire Rescue said that on Dec. 11, they were called to a structure fire on Craven Street in Branford around 6 a.m.
When they arrived, they found a home fully engulfed in flames that were endangering nearby buildings as well. They said that multiple units responded to extinguish the blaze.
Around 20 minutes later, the majority of the fire was under control. SCFR said fire crews searched the home and found a body.
SCFR and the State Bureau of Fire and Arson were on the scene investigating the cause of the fire and the fatality.
