TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Police are investigating a shooting that sent a baby to the hospital over the weekend.
The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. Sunday near Putnam Drive and Texas Street.
When officers got to the scene, they say they found the infant in a car that was damaged by gunfire. According to police, the baby was hit by a bullet in the hand and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of the non-life-threatening injury.
No other details are being released at this time.
