TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - If you have a burning science question you want answered by an expert you can have that opportunity on Friday.
Ask a Scientist is a booth at Railroad Square's First Friday and was created by Dr. Kenneth Hanson.
When Hanson first came to Tallahassee, he decided that the First Friday platform would be the perfect way to get the general public to connect to scientists.
Every month Hanson brings different researchers and science professionals to the booth where they can talk about the work they are doing on a one-on-one basis and answer general science questions.
VIDEO: Hanson spoke with Anchor Kellie Bartoli on Sunrise about the event and the many types of questions participants ask when they approach the booth.
One trend Hanson noticed when the public approaches the booth is that he thinks people seem excited to ask questions and learn from the answers.
The Ask a Scientist booth will be at First Friday on April 3 from 6 to 9 p.m.
