TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Former FSU Football player Mario Pender, who was kicked of the team over the weekend, is expected to plead not guilty to domestic violence charges.
According to attorney Tim Jansen, "We are filing a not guilty plea and requesting all evidence, including any and all exculpatory evidence, in their possession, custody and/or control."
Pender was arrested Saturday, details released in the probable cause affidavit say that Pender dragged his girlfriend by the hair and then tried to strangle her.
Hours after the arrest Pender was released by the team.
