TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Hope you're hungry because it's time once again for the Greek Food Festival!
This local celebration of all things Greek began back in the 1980s.
Some menu favorites include pastitsio, which is "a hearty casserole of seasoned ground beef, Greek-style macaroni topped with a creamy béchamel sauce."
And don't forget dessert! There's the ever-popular Baklava, which includes "layers of buttered filo and ground pecans with sweet syrup."
The 2015 Greek Food Festival is Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. both days.
Everything is at Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox (1645 Phillips Road), and there's no cost to take part.
